Sam Robertson: a University of Essex work placement

Sam Robertson is a Human History BSc student at the University of Essex who spent eight months on a work placement at the Museum.

Co-curated with the Museum, Sam’s display is split into two sections. Section one showcases the different roles and tasks he carried out during his placement. Section two, inspired by the book Lapidarium by Hettie Judah, highlights cultural stories behind some of the minerals in the Museum’s collections.
