Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences

A large proportion of our collections are available for research study in the Museum's Collections Research Centre in West Cambridge. We have spaces and facilities for researchers, students and members of the public to access our petrology, mineralogy and palaeontology collections, and our historic archive. The collections are stored in climate controlled conditions and access to them is by arrangement with Museum staff. We also run regular behind the scenes tours for groups and members of the public. Our Evolving Landscapes programme provides resources for schools and groups to explore the environment around the Collections Research Centre, with support from Museum staff.
