The Archive collections are available to access by researchers and the general public. Please note that currently only brief box-lists may be available and if staff are working on a collection, it may be closed whilst essential listing or preservation work is being carried out. Please contact staff for more information before planning your visit.
Providing access to information is a priority, but staff have a duty to provide individuals with a degree of privacy and must comply with the law. Therefore some records may also be closed in order to comply with the Data Protection Act, 2018.
Visit
Researchers and members of the public are welcome to visit the Archive by appointment.
Opening Hours
• Monday-Friday 10am-5pm.
• Closed weekends and Bank Holidays
The Archive may be closed at other times so please contact staff before making a visit.

Appointments
It is necessary to make an appointment to use the material (at least two weeks in advance) as some periods may be restricted owing to prior bookings, special events, and the availability of staff.

Please note that users will be required to sign an application form to say that they will follow the rules and safe handling guidelines in place, and adhere to Copyright Law(s). One form of identification is required.
