Volunteers play a crucial role in the work of the Museum, assisting with projects, collections and archive work, visitor engagement, learning and education.

The Museum currently offers volunteer placements by advertising specific roles. These opportunities are available in different areas of museum work and can be found on the University Cambridge Museum Volunteer Makers website. This website brings together opportunities from across all University Cambridge Museums and, once registered, will give you the opportunity to explore and apply for other volunteering roles across the Museums.
