Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cafe?

No, the Sedgwick Museum does not have a cafe on site and eating and drinking is not allowed in the Museum. Staff will be able to tell you about local places to eat and drink.

Are there toilets?

Yes we have one toilet available for visitors. An accessible toilet is available within the Department of Earth Sciences, Museum staff can provide access to this. The nearest Changing Spaces toilet is in Cambridge Shopmobility/Lion Yard which is opposite the Museum.

Are there baby changing facilities?

Yes there are baby changing facilities in both the Museum toilet and the Department of Earth Sciences accessible toilet.

Is there a lift?

Yes there is a small lift available. Please visit the Access page to find out more.

Are photographs allowed?

Photography is allowed for personal, non-commercial use.

Do you have a cloakroom or lockers?

There are coat-hooks available in the entrance of the Museum. Please note that these are used strictly at visitors' own risk and the Museum accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items. The Museum is unable to store personal items in any offices or behind the front desk.
